Hi! I am so pleased to see autumn arrive, even more so this year as it has been a particularly hot summer – which has made it hard for me sometimes as I work from home and at the times the indoor heat has been too much, making it impossible to knuckle down. Plus, I really love autumn – not only for its colours, but for the promise it brings of all the festivities ahead. Now, it’s officially OK to start thinking about making a Halloween costume, or dare I say it, start planning for Christmas. It also means we can unearth our jumpers and start making heartier meals – what’s not to love?
Speaking of knuckling down – I have finished and submitted the large project for the agency in Germany that I have mentioned in the last two posts, as well as the website proofreading job. I also took a couple of small (less than 1000 words) projects for a marketing company, so it was a good week. Haven’t got another project yet, but hopefully something will turn up tomorrow. If not, there is plenty to do on this blog or on one of my other money making schemes.
One of the advantages of having a few things on the go is that most of the time, I can pick and choose what to work on. I always prioritize matched betting as it is the most lucrative side earner, but after that I tend to choose between listing on eBay, taking photos and writing reviews for products I have tested.
There are always blog posts to write too. I am planning to start publishing the odd post about extra ways to make money online between entries on this online diary, so there is a lot of work to get on with!. On occasions where I am really tired I just complete surveys on prolific academic or enter competitions as on the most part it is pretty mindless and can be done whilst I’m curled up on the sofa watching TV. There is of course, always housework to do, and whilst I don’t follow a strict rota, I still like to keep on top of it. This weekend, I discovered Mrs Hinch – an Instagram superstar – who apparently has loads of good cleaning tips, so will check her out later and see if she inspires me to do an ‘Autumn Clean’.
That’s all for this week – thanks for reading. More next Monday!
